This fabric is yarn-dyed, i.e., made from individually dyed yarns woven together which gives it excellent colour retention. It's also made from premium, sustainable flax cultivated without irrigation.
The checkered pattern makes for an eye-catching neutral. It also gives the illusion of movement, which is great for confusing predators.
